Nurses Enjoy Free Ice Cream across Harley Street BID on International Nurses Day!
Nurses across Harley Street and Marylebone were treated to free ice cream on Monday 12th May, as part of a celebration to mark International Nurses Day 2025.
Organised by the Harley Street Business Improvement District (BID), the initiative saw an ice cream van tour key healthcare locations throughout the area – including the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic London, The London Clinic, UCLH, Moorfields, The Royal Marsden, Fortius Clinic, OneWelbeck, Phoenix Hospital Group, Royal Brompton and HCA Healthcare UK.
Staff were invited to show their NHS or hospital ID to receive a free ice cream – a small gesture to say thank you for their ongoing dedication.
Nicki Palmer, BID Director at Harley Street BID, said: “It was our pleasure to hand out ice creams as a way of saying thank you for everything our nurses do. We know how hard they work, and this was just a small way to show our appreciation.”
The ice cream giveaway kicked off a week-long programme of exclusive offers and discounts for NHS and healthcare workers across the district, running until Sunday 18th May.
